Marcus -- Can you provide a "coherent bug report" of your experiences to
bug-hurd? Apparently my CC of our dpkg experiences did not comply with
proper format :P

works in the Hurd according to POSIX just like everywhere else. If
there
is a problem, it is a bug. But this is the first we've heard of it.
If you have found a bug, then submit a coherent bug report to bug-hurd.
