I've done works on your package which I have NOT yet committed to salsa
because more IMO is required (lintian warnings).
I push it now so everybody can have an idea. A quick rebuild of the
1.9.1-Ervin shows some of these problems still present, anyway we should be
able to release a proper 1.8 quickly.
Valhalla has kindly accepted to revision hamlib 3.2 and upload it.

Do you think it's possible to repack-2 the 1.8 upstream version and
remove also the /boost directory?
