Is this software adding anything to what we already have with hamlib ?
Even if it is just another alternative to hamlib I see ni reason to not adding it to debian ... as the users will have more choices ;-)

I've started this project https://sourceforge.net/projects/sdrbot, but
I'm not sure if there is any interest in such software.
(sdrbot is receiver control software and currently supports AOR AR8200).
Does it make any sense to continue development and add support for
other receivers like Icom, for example?
Will anyone be interested to see such software in Debian distribution?
Can anyone share your opinion?
