I would like to ask you something regarding IP firewall. Is it possible to implement IP firewalls with subnet filtering features? If yes, how it can be done? What is a clear defination or understanding of subnet filtering? Is it the same as network firewall? For your information, currently i am doing research on ixp1200 intel network processor.
