Does it work to set it in /etc/powerdns/pdns.d/pdns-debian-edu.conf too?
If it does, we can consider to set it in debian-edu-config for all
installations.

Klaus, why does it help to set this setting?  What are the negative
consequences? Any idea why this setting isn't the default in powerdns?
