I've been wondering where exactly to add this information. The minimal 
solution would be an FAQ entry "Are old images still available?" or 
similar. If someone writes a small HOWTO, then it might be worthwhile to 
create a new, small page. However, I'm not sure about the contents of the 
HOWTO - any takers?

If I don't hear anything, I guess I'll just add a HOWTO entry for the time 
being.
