Frequent freezes with linux images 4.5 and 4.6
Hi there,
when running the current 4.5 and 4.6 linux images from backports, our
HTPC experiences frequent freezes. Nothing suspicous in the system
journal, the system just becomes completely inresponsive -- unreachable
over the network, and even SysReq+REISUB couldn't provoke any reaction.
The computer runs perfectly stable on the current 3.16 kernel (and,
IIRC, did so on the backports 4.2 kernel, which I unfortunately
uninstalled when trying out 4.5...)
(BTW, a couple of hours with memtest86 didn't come up with any RAM
problems.)
