I realized a backport for QLandkarteGT from Jessie (1.7.5-1) to Wheezy for amd64.
The backport was done using the instructions from https://wiki.debian.org/SimpleBackportCreation
Tests have shown, that the corresponding Garmin drivers from stable work with this backport.

If this is sufficient to publish it as Debian Backport, I would be happy if it was uploaded to the repositories.
