Glibc 2.1 Upgrading...

Hi all..

Well, with the necessary debs available on the archive and mirrors now,
packaging can continue for potato.

For the SAFEST (and probably best) upgrade path, I recommend the use of
apt to upgrade.  It should order the packages properly for safe
installation.

FYI, I have discovered what looks like a bug in the dynamic linker that
may affect packaging.  Once I pin it down and get the fix in the works,
I'll be sure to post to the list.  In the meantime, it should be safe to
work on things (the bug has only prevented me from packaging one package,
it has not hampered my system otherwise).

Anyway, Paul's going to start the list again soon, so let the packaging
begin again :-)
