Re: New install on powerbook 540c

Excellent this worked so far. I downloaded the 2.4 kernel and used the
root.bin from the Debian m68k CD. the screen goes to gray and I see the
kernel coming up. it recognizes the hard drive and the CD rom and then it
goes into some other stuff labeled

NCR5380 Core release =7.
Base addr: 0x00000    io_port: 50f10000    IRQ:19.
NCR5380 coroutine is running.
scsi0: no currently connected command
scsi0: issue_queue
scsi0: disconnected_queue
scsi0: destination target 4, lun 0
        command = 18 (0x12)00 00 00 ff 00

I haven't a clue what that means really but it ends there and the mac just
sits. Any idea what it is looking for or how I can remedy this?
