Bug#511110: linux-image-2.6-686: battery charge report suddenly jumps to zero triggering auto-hibernation
Package: linux-image-2.6-686
Version: 2.6.26+17
Severity: normal
The reported charge of the battery jumps randomly to
zero even if the battery is fully charged. This causes the computer to
suddenly auto-hibernate while I'm working. This behavior is very
disturbing. It started at some point after the introduction of kernel
2.6.26 but I can't tell precisely when.
